Psycho-educational assessments  examine  the underlying neuro-cognitive aspects of learning such as: the ability to think abstractly, receptive and expressive language skills, short term and long term memory, verbal and visual learning, attention, processing speed, fine motor skills,  and executive function skills such as planning and organization.
