Psychoeducational Assessments

Psycho-educational assessments  examine  the underlying neuro-cognitive aspects of learning such as: the ability to think abstractly, receptive and expressive language skills, short term and long term memory, verbal and visual learning, attention, processing speed, fine motor skills,  and executive function skills such as planning and organization. Psychological/emotional factors such as motivation, emotional development, and self-esteem also play a large role in learning and succeeding in school.

I am a psychologist and learning/attention specialist, and a strong advocate of the bio-psycho-social approach to mental health. The psychoeducational assessment process is informed by the most current information about brain development, and takes into account not only an individual’s strengths and needs, but also the role of family, school, and other contexts in the individual’s learning experience. With each evaluation, I provide detailed, personalized, and comprehensive recommendations to best serve your needs.

My mission

My goal is to help learners of all ages to reach their educational potential, and to succeed in the school setting. I work with leaners of all ages, from gan to bagrut age, as well as students and adults. I test in both Hebrew and in English. I am committed to continuing my education, training, and understanding of the latest research to ensure that my clients are receiving the best supported testing methods and treatments.

My Services

It is important to me to offer comprehensive services, and not just "sell reports." It is helpful for me to know the child both in and out of the classroom, alone and and in the context of the family. Working privately means that I can put my client's needs first and foremost.
