ADHD assessment
ADD/ADHD testing assess cognitive, attentional and psychological functioning. Recommendations are provided in the areas of academic, social, occupational and personal strategy development. Assessment includes diagnostic and screening questionnaires, neuro-cognitive tests, and other related tests according to the age, ability, and particular needs of the child, including a computerized performance test of attention (MOXO). The goal is to identify a cognitive profile which can guide recommendations for the classroom and the home. Often, accomodations on tests such as extra time or breaks between sections may be recommended.
What's included:

conference with the parents, and if appropriate, school officials;

age-appropriate clinical interview with the child

interview with teacher, other remedial teachers or support staff, as relevant

assessment of school records, including evaluation of standardized testing, psychological tests and reports;

diagnostic and screening questionnaires, neuro-cognitive tests, and other related tests according to the age, ability, and particular needs of the child; testing generally takes place over one 1.5 - 2 hour sessions, according to the particular requirements of the situation
